Topics This Week

During class this week we talked about camera angles and camera movements.  We talked about what specific camera angles and movements do, such as bird's eye view, and panning.  We discussed such lesson essential questions as "How do I use camera angles/movements/elements & principles of art to enhance my work?”   Camera movements include tracking, tilting, zooming, panning, and dollying. These are how the viewer watches the movie, if they weren't there the camera would be still therefore the would be terrible.  Without camera angles like close up and over the shoulder then the movie would again be a bland solitary camera at a fixed point staying still and the viewer wouldn't be able to most of the action.  This week we learned about camera angles and camera movements and how to effectivley use them to make our movie the beat it can be.
